Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Loan Manager to join our team at the Hyderabad Branch. The Loan Manager will be responsible for overseeing the loan portfolio, assessing creditworthiness, and managing the loan approval process.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Manage the loan approval process in compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Analyze financial data, credit reports, and collateral to determine loan eligibility and terms.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and objectives.
- Monitor the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayment and minimize risk.
- Provide guidance and support to loan officers and other team members.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as risk management and legal, to ensure loan compliance.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding loan performance and portfolio analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, with at least 2 years in a loan management role.
- Strong knowledge of lending principles, credit analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
- Certification in banking or related field is a plus.
